Beach VIllas at Ko Olina Cleanliness and Preparation Protocols for Covid - 19

In addition to the steps taken at the Beach Villas at Ko Olina in the common elements, pools and fitness center which each have protocols of their own as the tier system changes, special care is taken to ensure that each individual Villa is equally cleaned and sanitized prior to each occupancy. This cleaning and sanitizing is done through the cooperation of our housekeeping and guest services team . Upon completion, we utilize an electrostatic sanitation system to distribute an aerosol sanitizer throughout the villa to finalize the preparation of its surfaces prior to each occupancy. This system is in addition to our normal attention to details of cleaning and sanitizing of the villa including special attention to high touch areas like wall switches, remote controls and handles. The introduction of COVID-19 has created additional needs of preparing the villas and we thank our housekeeping provider for establishing additional safeguards in their preparation of our villas. 

Marilyn, the owner of our contracted housekeeping services, has been taking care of the Beach Villas for over 10 years and does an amazing job. In response to COVID-19, she has added precautions of an upgrade to a  hospital grade cleaner / sanitizer for use in all cleaning applications, bagging and sealing of certain items like spare sheets and blankets to track use and the use of the hand held electrostatic mister in the video with sanitizer as recommended by the manufacturer.

For your convenience, adequate supplies of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher machine soap, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper are provided for your stay as well as starter kits of hand and bath soaps.
